I WILL LEARN:  how to use my knowledge of two dimensional measurements to design a house 

PROCEDURE:

  • students will create their own tesselation
  • students will draw and then cut a design from a square index card
  • students will attach the cutouts in a translation or a reflection pattern
  • students will trace the tesselation design to cover a legal sheet of paper
  • students will creatively color their tesselation to creat a unique design
