The College Board Florida Partnership is offering a free webinar on the topic of Navigating College Board’s BigFuture platform, while connecting to the College Board’s BigFuture Scholarships. The February 15th, 2022, session will focus on how students can connect to College Board’s BigFuture platform to help them guide their search for colleges, scholarships, and careers. Our team will be inviting our BigFuture colleagues to expand on the new changes to the BigFuture Scholarship Program and how your students can potentially earn money for college by completing six (6) easy steps. You don’t want to miss this!

Attention Class of 2022! This is your chance to get assistance locating and writing scholarship applications. Each year our community awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to seniors for a variety of reasons. You can't receive college scholarship money if you do not complete an application!

Scholarship Boot Camp Information:

NEW SMYRNA BEACH HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES for 2021-2022

Below is a list of local scholarship opportunities for the 2021-2022 school year. Please note that the scholarships offered are only for New Smyrna Beach High School Seniors.

Please read the requirements carefully and provide all the requested information.  Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Scholarship Boot Camp – Get a jump on applying for local scholarships by attending the Boot Camp on Thursday, January 27th, 2022 in the Media Center. Get help completing the application and writing your essay. Be sure to bring a flash drive, a rough draft of your essay and a copy of the Scholarship Booklet, with the scholarships highlighted, that you want to apply for.
Do not forget to sign-up for your Senior Scholarship Boot Camp session in the Counseling Office.

New Smyrna Beach FFA Alumni Scholarship

1.  Standard Application

2.  Student must be an active FFA member and have participated in activities in class and during chapter activities outside of class

3.  Application and essay must be turned in by March 31, 2022

4.  Essay must be minimum 500 words

5.  An interview will be given to all applicants and “official dress” should be worn.  The interview will be approximately 15 minutes.

6.  Turn in two (2) letters of recommendation.  AG teacher letters will not be accepted.
