Senior Scholarship Boot Camp

Attention Class of 2019! This is your chance to get assistance locating and writing scholarship applications. Each year our community awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to seniors for a variety of reasons. You can't receive college scholarship money if you do not complete an application!

NEW SMYRNA BEACH HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES for 2018-2019

Below is a list of local scholarship opportunities for the 2018-2019 school year. Please note that the scholarships offered are only for New Smyrna Beach High School Seniors.

Please read the requirements carefully and provide all the requested information.  Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Please continue to visit our website to check on any additional scholarship opportunities as they become available. The application submission deadline is March 8th, 2019.  Please note that some scholarships have special deadline dates.

Scholarship Boot Camp – Get a jump on applying for local scholarships by attending the Boot Camp on January 17, 2019 in the Media Center. Get help completing the application and writing your essay. Be sure to bring a flash drive, a rough draft of your essay and a copy of the Scholarship Booklet, with the scholarships highlighted, that you want to apply for.
Do not forget to sign-up for your Senior Scholarship Boot Camp session in the Guidance Office.

My name is Anna, and I’m the Co-Founder of Chairish, a unique vintage furniture marketplace. Each year, our Chairish Scholarship Program awards $5,000 in college scholarships to deserving students, and I’d love to share this opportunity with your students at Volusia County Schools!

Our Design Your Future scholarship is open to high school seniors of any major. Do you have a list on your district’s website where we can share this with your students? The Chairish ‘Design Your Future’ Scholarship ($2,500)

• Open to graduating high school seniors of any major

• Students are asked to submit a 500-word essay designing their ideal future and their plans to achieve that dream

• Minimum 2.0/4.0 cumulative GPA required

• Students must be planning to enroll at an accredited 2-year, 4-year, or vocational/technical college or university in the U.S.
