Below is a list of local scholarship opportunities for the 2016-2017 school year. Please read the requirements carefully and provide all the requested information.  Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Please visit our website to check on any additional scholarship opportunities as they become available. 

Financial Aid Night has been scheduled for October 4th, 2016.
Scholarship Boot Camp – Get a jump on applying for local scholarships by attending the boot camp on February 17th, 2017 (noon) in the Media Center. Get help completing the application and writing your essay. Be sure to bring a flash drive, a rough draft of your essay and a copy of the Scholarship Booklet, with the scholarships highlighted, that you want to apply for.
Do not forget to sign-up for your Senior Scholarship Boot Camp session in the Guidance Office.

Elks National Foundation - Most Valuable Student Scholarship

Since 1931, the Elks National Foundation has helped thousands of students who need financial asistance fulfill their drams of attending college.  Most Valuable Student scholars are outstanding students who are at or near the top of their classes, active in their schools and communities, and recognized as leaders by their peers.

the ENF awards $2.44 million annual in MVS scholarships to 500 high school seniors nationwide.  The first- and second-place awards are among the largest scholarship provided by any major fraternal or service organization.

500 Four-year Awards

  • First Place:  Two $50,000 scholarship ($12,500 per year)
  • Second Place:  Two $40,000 scholarship $10,000 per year)
  • Third Place:  Two $30,000 Jack London scholarships ($7,500 per year)
  • 14 $20,000 scholarship ($5,000 per year)
  • 480 $4,000 scholarships ($1,000 per year)
