All Volusia County high schools are on a traditional 7-period school day. At NSBHS, teachers have office hours each day. This allows teachers or students to elect to have additional time for student to teacher connection to assist, further teach, or reteach a concept. New Smyrna Beach High School prides itself on its high commitment in all areas. We are proud of the variety and caliber of programs we are able to offer. This tradition of excellence would not be possible without the commitment of our award winning faculty, the efforts of our students and the support of our parents and community.
